Christmas Eve – Tuesday 24th December 2024
Our bar and restaurant will be open as usual on Christmas Eve from 12noon for Drinks and Dining offering our Al A Carte menu. Our kitchen will close early, so last table seating is at 8.00pm.
Christmas Day – Wednesday 25th December 2024
On Christmas Day we are offering a delicious five course menu and will be serving Christmas Day lunch between 12noon and 3.30pm. Please see below for full details.
Boxing Day – Tuesday 26th December 2024
Our bar and restaurant will be open as usual on Day from 12noon for Drinks and Dining offering our Al A Carte menu. Our kitchen will close early, so last table seating is at 8.00pm. Bookings are now being accepted online and over the phone.

Join us this Christmas Day for an indulgent five-course menu, brimming with festive flavours. Our talented chefs have curated a mouthwatering selection of dishes, featuring the finest local Northumbrian produce. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the day in style!
- 5 Course Christmas Lunch Menu
- Served between 12.00pm and 3.30pm.
- We require 50% deposit to secure the booking, and the remaining 50% balance is due two weeks before along with the pre-order for all food.
- £95 per person, and the children’s menu is £55 per person.
* Please note – we do not accept dogs in our restaurant on Christmas Day.

- Three nights’ accommodation at the Whittling House, including breakfast each morning, 5 course Christmas Day lunch and Cold Meat/Cheese Platters with accompaniments on Christmas Day Night.
- Twin Room – £450 per person for three-night package based on 2 persons sharing
Standard King Room – £525 per person for three-night package based on 2 persons sharing
King Studio Suite / Deluxe King Room – £595 per person for three-night package based on 2 persons sharing
- Accommodation packages are available on a first come first serve basis.
